I spelled the name wrong when I submitted it. :/ Oopsy. Haha, anyways.
I think it's about a guy leaving a girl, because in their particular situation, it's the right thing to do, beacuase part of the reason he's leaving is because of all the stuff she's lied about and because they're just so different. And because the person leaving is completely sure of that it really is the right thing to do, her begging and crying can't change his mind.

It is about an individual who coldly and bitterly walking away from a life in addiction and despair and is angry and wants to never see the likes of it again. hence "see you clearly in a different light" And no matter the tears of the addict, nor the fearsome dying wails of disease of addiction, the reckless end is always the same: jails, institutions, and death.

This reminds me of me and my ex boyfriend. I loved him but I kept hurting him because of all my insecurities and problems. In the end he had to do what he had to do to keep himself from being hurt anymore. No matter how much I cried and said I loved him, he left. Sometimes we do hurt the ones we love, because we know they will always love us and forgive us. Or so we think. When you go around hurting yourself just to feel something, hurting others because you don't know how to be healthy emotionally, people finally stay away. You think people push you away, but sometimes its you pushing them, so they start pulling away.
Sometimes love just isn't enough. I think he wants them to be together, but only when they can stop being hurt.
