Joy Olasunmibo Ogunmakin (born September 14, 1980) is a German singer-songwriter living in Paris. She uses the pseudonym Ayo. (with a dot below or behind – without it, it would mean onion), which means joyful in Yoruba. She was born near Cologne, Germany to a Nigerian father and a Romani mother from Romania.
