Black Label Society – Stillborn lyrics
Blind me, erase what was
Stillborn I have become
The feelings I once felt are now dead and gone
I've waited here for you for so very long

So empty, just a shell of a man
Stillborn, this I understand
The feelings I once felt are now dead and gone
I've waited here for you for so very long

I've waited here for you so long
I've waited here for you
For you

The feelings I once felt are now dead and gone
I've waited here for you for so very long
I've waited here for you so long
I've waited here for you so long
I've waited here for you so long
I've waited here for you
For you

I think its very obvious he's not talking about an unborn child as he says, "blind me, erase what was, stillborn, i have become" I may be wrong, but because of the pain I've suffered in my life after I gave someone my heart, soul, and life. It seems to me he's talking about just that. He loved her, he gave her his heart, his soul, his life, he changed everything about himself for her but she took everything he gave her for granted therefore leaving him stillborn or dead inside. And then he goes on to say that the pain she caused him left him stillborn, but he learned his lesson as he waited for her for so long to come back to him, she never did, therefore any feelings he had, are dead and gone.

He is not referring to any of those things. Zakk is using a metaphor to compare himself to a stillborn infant because sometimes its like he gave his life for nothing! The corruption of man has faded his soul, this Babylon. A fear that you shall know! I know Him well and trust me he is not a happy camper, and there are very few lucky ducks and Bucks. Zakk country!
