    All I know is that I never heard it before and was very down, when I turned on the radio and this song made me dance for a moment. At the time I felt like it was the spirit of love that is brighter than the sun. And I needed some love which the spirit sent me via this song, not down anymore. Instead I have hope of meeting that special person waiting to meet me. Blessings all.

    This is one of the best songs around it doesn't have all of that cussing in every verse like a bunch of other songs around. I especially like how it is so fast because I love fast beats to songs. In this song she just sings her mind like she is just the happiest person ever like she on top of the world. I love you collbie keep writting as wonderful and keep singing as beutiful as you do!

    She is giving a hidden meaning. She is talking about "a fallen star". Which refers to angels who have fallen, and insinuates that we can be the same way and "brighter than the sun", but the reference is to the "son", not the "sun". The son being jesus christ the lord. Furthermore she says we can "shine how we want, brighter than the sun", which is to say we can be more illuminated and come to our "own vision" without the restrictions or limitations of the "son". Additionally, she says it's like "lightning striking the heart". Which refers to the "prince of the power of the air", his power being those things such as lightning, air waves, electricity, etc. If you don't know who the prince of the power of the air is. Google it.
