Dallas Holm & Praise – Rise Again lyrics
Go ahead, drive the nails in My hands;
Laugh at me... Where you stand.
Go ahead, and say it isn't Me;
The day will come... When you will see.

(Refrain)
'Cause I'll rise.... Again;
Ain't no power on earth can keep Me down!
Yes, I'll rise... Again;
Death can't keep Me in the ground.

Go ahead, mock My name;
My love for you is still the same.
Go ahead, and bury Me;
But very soon, I will be free!

(Refrain) (Instrumental bridge)

Go ahead, and say I'm dead and gone,
But you will see that you were wrong.
Go ahead, try to hide the Son;
But all will see that I'm the One!

(Final refrain)
'Cause I'll come again!
Ain't no power on earth can keep me back!
Yes, I'll come again;
Come to take My people back.

    Jesus is telling those before us who he is and regardless of what they do to him he is the one with all the power and yet he loves them, just as it is for us today no matter if he is rejected, mocked or hated he died for all of us and will forgive and come back for those of us that have repented of our sins, he is the same yesterday, today and forever. Praise his holy name.

    I can not hear this song without sobbing. It is Jesus looking out as he is being crucified and wanting to tell us that He is who He says He is. He is God and we can not kill, destroy and deny who He is. He has power over sin and death and He is coming back for His people. I feel so unworthy to receive His sacrifice. He is able to forgive and love those who crucified Him. Praises to the King of King.
