Alliteration is like assonance accept the letter that has to be repeated is at the start of each word. An example of this is "'Til what we put off 'til tomorrow Has now become today". The words that is in the line is Till, Till, tomorrow and today.

SIMILE
In this poetic technique one of the things that I found in the lyrics are simile. Simile is when you find something that is like something. one of the examples in the lyrics "you know a dream is like a river."

IMAGERY
Imagery is when you look for the five senses which is sight, taste, touch, sound and smell. I found in lyrics and one example that I have is "like a bird upon the wind these waters are my sky."

RHYME SCHEME
The rhyme scheme in the first stanza is AA, BB, CC.
