Gateway Worship – Revelation Song lyrics
Worthy is the,
Lamb who was slain
Holy, Holy, is He
Sing a new song, to Him who sits on
Heaven's Mercy Seat
[Repeat 2x]

(Chorus)
Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come
With all creation I sing:
Praise to the King of Kings!
You are my everything,
And I will adore You...!
Yeah!

Clothed in rainbows, of living color
Flashes of lightning, rolls of thunder
Blessing and honor, strength and
Glory and power be
To You the Only Wise King,
Yeah

(Chorus)
Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come, yeah
With all creation I sing:
Praise to the King of Kings!
You are my everything,
And - I - will - adore You!
Yeah!

Filled with wonder,
Awestruck wonder
At the mention of Your Name
Jesus, Your Name is Power
Breath, and Living Water
Such a marvelous mystery
Yeah...

(Chorus)
Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come, yeah
With all creation I sing:
Praise to the King of Kings!
You are my everything,
And - I - will - adore You!

Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Who was, and is, and is to come,
With all creation I sing:
Praise to the King of Kings!
You are my everything,
And - I - will - adore YOU...

(Chorus) (Repeat at a cappella)

Come up lift up His Name
To the King of Kings...
We will adore YOU Lord...
King of heaven and earth
King Jesus, King Jesus
Aleluya, aleluya, aleluya!
Majesty, awestruck Honor
And Power and Strength and Dominion
To You Lord,
To the King, to King
To the King of Glory

This is a song from the book of the revelation of jesus christ. It is a song.
Of high praise to god and the song of triumph. In john's vision of heaven, no one was found worthy to open the seals of judgement that god had prepared to bring justice and righteousness to the earth. No one on, under or above the earth was righteous enough to bring forth judgement. But then jesus, the slaughtered and raised lamb of god came forward and was found worthy. And everyone sang this song of praise and joy!

To me this song is about god as a being of almighty power. The phrase you are everything is repeated constantly throughout the song. That alone speaks so much to how god should be viewed in our lives. "filled with wonder" is what I imagine it would be like upon meeting or seeing the person of christ. However this song says that at just the mention of his name that is how we should feel which I agree with.

When all the saints bow down before the lamb who died for our sins in love! We lay the crown(s) down at his feet that he gave us as overcomers and redeemed! His great love that flows from him into us and all around us! All the angels of his amazed and singing their love songs to him as well! Total love, total joy eminating from him to us in great awesome power and majesty that is due only to him who sits on the throne and is truely worthy! Amen and selah! Barbara mclendon.

To know that I was an enemy of the almighty lord god and he loved me so extravagantly, so lavishly, so powerfully that he knew that the only way to rectify the situation was to offer me the costly grace of his blood sacrifice. He has opened my heart, eyes, ears and mind so that I now treasure him more than anything else. He is beautiful and worthy of praise and this song captures his holiness for me. Thanks for writing it.

Worship the king of kings and the lord of lords in the throne room of heaven with this song. See the lord clothed in rainbows of living colour. Blesssing, strength, glory and power to him who sits upon the throne. He is holy, and there is no one else like him to be praised in all of the universe. He alone deserves the praise, honour and glory for who he is.

God the father and son are truly magnified, the greatness and goodness of our god and savior make we want to fall down to my knees and lift my hand in worship to our god when I hear this song. I don't think I've heard this song without crying and praising god. Truly a song inspired by the holy spirit. It refreshes my love for god. If this song, inspires you too, make a point of praying for and loving on someone in your life that has frustrated or angered you, because after loving god, you need to love your brother. Thank you for putting up this site!

In this song we see god revealed as the almighty god! He is Jesus the lamb that was slain and mighty conquering king that every knee in heaven and earth will bow to! I always see this song as Jesus revealing himself in his glorified state not in his human form but as Jesus in revelation 1: 12-18. I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man,[a] dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 the hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 his feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 in his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
17 when I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "do not be afraid. I am the first and the last. 18 I am the living one; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and hades.

The meaning of this song is indescribable! There are no words! I praise my god, my personal lord and savior christ jesus! Often I pray and tears well up in my eyes knowing how much I love god! Singing this song causes me to cry with love for my god, praise and thanksgiving for my heavenly father! My heavenly father came to me when I was just 10 years old when my earthly father had just died and I loved my daddy, I have many great memories! And god came to comfort me and this song means so much! My mother called out to me in the darkness when I was to be sleeping, she ask me if I wanted to pray with her! I got up from my bed, got on my knees and knelt beside my mother at her bed, I listened to her speak beautiful words of prayers to her god, and at that very moment I felt the love of god also for me, comforting me in my grief! From that day forward god has been with me! His love is unconditional and I, so undeserving, I owned his great love, and he loved me and I am so blessed! I'm 68 years old now and I look back over my years and know he sent angels to protect me, god was there through people, giving to me when I needed god more than anything, and he met my needs before I even knew I needed them at the time. Praise god forever! I am looking forward to seeing god in heaven soon, actually sooner that I can imagine! Thank you for reading my story of what the revelation song means to me. It means so much! It is the most beautiful meaningful song I've known and I sing it to myself often.

A beautiful rendering of the great song of praise found in the book of revelation! I can't wait till that glorious day when I get to stand with the great congregation of the redeemed and sing this song with all my might and all my heart! Praise be to god who loved me so much that he put all my punishment on his own son. He is worthy of praise, not just for who he is, but also for what he has done for us! Thank you father, thank you jesus!

This song signifies the way christ is in the center of my heart. He died in blood shed so I may be covered in his grace. He died so when I experience pain I know he took the nail to deliver me from dispair. This song reflects the most amazing power that comes from a place that I am so connected to yet worlds apart from and a place that is foreign to me since it is so unlike this painful world.

When I'm feeling down, or I feel like god is slipping away this song always brings me back in and reminds me of just how amazing god is and how blessed I am to feel even a fraction of the love for him that he feels for me. This is more then just a pretty tune or simple words. This is the spirit. This is the remembrance. This is the faith.

Reminds me how holy, great, mighty is the one we worship. The king who became a man to bear the cross and the punishment of our transgressions. That, I am nothing, way far nothing but sinful and unworthy in nature. But this pure, clean and perfect lamb made me worthy of everything, he washed away my sins, give me faith, amazing grace, spirit and made me able to come and have this wonderful relationship with his father. :)

Inspired by the book of revelation, this song ends the argument, silences all enemies! I have been wayward and lost these past few years. My heart was filled with the fire of worship and I helped lead the children of god in worship, but then I became discouraged. This song with the key words "holy holy holy is the lord god almighty who was, and is, and is to come" has re-inspired me to worship. Blessings to the child who was obedient to the holy spirit for writing this wonderful song. Not enough can be said of its power! Praise god.
