    I've been in the same situation. You have a friend who had been close to you and ever since the day you met him there was something special him. The girl tried to become close to him and be there for him, but it turns out he's in love with some other girl. The girl feels she likes the background character in a book where the boy gets the girl, but the girl doesn't get the boy. She tries to get herself out of the situation, but just ends up making up a big mistake. Just thinking about him everyday and thinking about the girl being with him than you. The girl feels alone, and can only hope that maybe, she might get a chance. *Sigh* it hurts to love someone so much.

    There's this guy at my school I really like, I have every class with Him so I hear him talking to his friends a lot, o me day I heard him saying he has a crush on some girl, that night I went home crying, the next day I couldn't stop thinking about it, after a while I found this song and listened to it, the chorus reminds me a lot of what happened, and I'm thinking if sending him this. But not say it's me, I don't know what to do but I sure hope it's me he has a crush on, but the concept of this song is kinda like, I like this guy but he's with her, so it reminds me a lot if the guy and yea.

    I have been best friends with this girl for 5 years. (I'm a girl). I started to date this guy I really liked. We broke up but I still was in love with him. About 6 months later, she decided that she would go for him. She asked me if I would be mad and I said I would. She dated him anyway. This song made me think, when they were together. They broke up because my friend knew I hated her for doing that to me. She has dated him more than once, and I still hate her for that. I'm starting to get over it. The guy and I are back together, and today is our three month anniversary.

    Me and my ex, I love him so much. It's always been about him being happy for me. That's all I've ever wanted was for him to be happy. I did everything I could. But with the girl he's with now, the only thing to me still is his happiness. So it's like I need to know that he's being treated nicely. Because he deserves the best, even if that means him being with someone else.

    She loves him, that's obvious. And she just needs to know, she needs that comfort of knowing that the girl he's with now does what she did, or wants to do. And she needs to know that he's getting what he deserves, what she wants to give him. It's a song about love, the real kind. It's not selfish. She's not saying that she is better than the other girl. She just wants him to be happy.

    My neighbor/ guy friend and I got super close and I started to really, really like him. I thought he felt the same because he was always so over protective of me and flirted with me a lot. But, I guess I was wrong, because he has a girlfriend now. It hurts so, so bad to think he's kissing and holding someone else. I don't know how to describe the pain~ and I think that means I liked him a lot more than I thought. But this song pretty much sums everything up perfectly.

    I'm currently in this situation where my best friend since fourth grade and my other best friend since tenth are dating. I've had a crush on him for basically forever. They started dating about a year ago. They don't even have a good relationship. Its mainly just kissing and flirting. Where with me and him. There is so much more. So much emotional and mental connection that I often forget we havn't always known each other. Well he's my best friend, and has been since she ditched me, some friend right? I've given up practically everything for her, and now that he's shown interest in me, I still can't make a move because I know it would hurt her. She's amazing, but so am i! I understand him, he understands me. We do everything together and she's ditched me. He feels horrible because we have issues. And we arent even fighting over him! This song made me cry today. She doesn't understand him, nor deserve him, she practically cheated on him. Where is the logic behind all of this!? Am I crazy?

    Well. To me. Its about a girl, who was is a pretty much toxic relationship, she broke up e=with the guy becasue he was abusive, but now her stalker/roomate is dating him because the stalker chic wants everything she wants. But now she realizes that she loves him even though he was a jerk, and is totally dying inside because someother girl has him. I know, because right now, I'm living it.
