Reminds me of my relationship with my best friend and boyfriemd. We have both grown a lot and over come so much together, both had to deal with very hard patches in our seperate lives and together. He still tends to pull away when he starts to get stressed and overwhelmed, but just like jason says in his song, I wait for him when he needs his space, I have always been here when he was ready to come back and he has come back much stronger after each time he pulled away. Couple having their ups and downs in a relationship. Not sure if they are meant for each other although they have much love and happy times with each other. One person in the relationship is not as sure and needs space, other will wait, whatever it takes for the other to take time to explore and find what they are looking for together or separate. Obviously the love between them is not mutually deep otherwise there would not be any issues. Either way he or she would want to remain friends and still feel even if they will not fulfill a lasting romantic relationship they learned alot about each other and themselves.
