Kumiko Noma – Lilium lyrics
Os iusti meditabitur sapientiam,
Et lingua eius loquetur indicium.

Beatus vir qui suffert tentationem,
Quoniqm cum probates fuerit accipient coronam vitae
.

Kyrie, fons bonitatis.
Kyrie, ignis divine, eleison
.

O quam sancta, quam serena,
Quam benigma, quam amoena esse Virgo creditur.
O quam sancta, quam serena,
Quam benigma, quam amoena,
O castitatis lilium.

[Instrumental]

Kyrie, fons bonitatis.
Kyrie, ignis divine, eleison.

O quam sancta, quam serena,
Quam benigma, quam amoena,
O castitatis lilium.

I love this song. Basically, its a song that explains how someone without sins, guilt, and without temptations of evil would be granted with wisdom and all life's treasure and secrets from god and the spirits of good. Then it explains about a girl who has gave in to evil and she begs for forgiveness at a fountain or a sacred place of gods. Its a song about forgiveness of sins and how you would be granted wishes from the good.

This is a beautiful song. It reminds me of myself in a way. If you have seen the anime Elfen Lied (I'd be surprised if you didn't, considering that this is the opening theme) it relates to Lucy and how she had feelings of remorse for killing Kohta's family. The song will make sense once you get towards the end, many people don't believe that it has to do with the anime. If you look at the picture of Lucy with her hand slightly over her shoulder, you will notice that the the middle and ring fingers are together. I forgot which religion does this, but that is the symbol of repentance for their sins. So if you consider that and the ending, the song will have a much more profound affect on you in my opinion. I hope that my explanation helped at least a little bit.
