Hi. Lori Perry was the gifted and wonderful singer of this song but she did not write its music or lyrics. The music was by the film's score composer, Christopher Young, and the lyrics were by me, David Goldsmith. I am very proud to have written it and hope to set the record straight. If you were to scroll through the end credits of the film, you would note that the song is credited to Young/Goldsmith. That's accurate, albeit incomplete. Thanks for enjoying the song.
