    That was a really bad mistake when the fall out boys remade this song. Nobody can top Michael Jackson. He is called the King of Pop for a reason. Nobody should change anything about any of his songs. I still can't believe he is dead. He was an unbelievable singer and a talented dancer. He will always live in our hearts and we will miss him so much. Pray for the Jackson family. Rest In Peace Michael Joseph Jackson!

    The reason why I love this song is because I fansy michael jackson and I wish he was still here so then I can give him one big kiss on his lips and have children with him and I am really upset and miserable and have been crying for 6 days in a row and can't stop crying and everytime someone talks about him to me I start crying that is how much I want to be with him love from chanelle matthews.

    I think what "beat it" means is not to get in fights and do bad things like: fighting, drugs tempting children, and so on. He's trying to say that it's wrong to break the law and there is consequences to your actions so he's trying to get people to reealize that illegal things are wrong so they won't. So that ur neighborhood, you and the children will be a little safer.

    What I classic, I enjoy listing to it.
    Mj was so handsome back in the day, but I guess the pressures of his life plus the high expertations for him were to much and he got a li'l wacko.
    Beat it is such an amzing song and is one of the many songs that shows his talent like singing, dancing and writing. It doesen't matter if he was a little strange, he loved his fans, kids and his family.

    I think what mj was trying to say is that when trouble is sbout to happen, just beat it. All the people who was talking crap about Mike and was calling him a child molester is wrong! He went through all that pressure and drama when he was growing up just to die with all that. You peoples just don't know how hurt he was. But I did. Rest in peace mj! I love you always!     I think "Beat It" is a song where Michael Jackson says he knows you want to be bad, you want to be tough, macho, and show off some really good fighting skills and prowess, but it’s not worth it. He doesn’t want to see your blood, or you lose your life, so beat it or walk away from the fighting and be safe. He gets that no one wants to lose a fight or argument (be defeated), but there are times in everyone’s lives where we have to set aside our differences and stop fighting or arguing with someone and it ends up for the better, because in the end it didn't matter who was wrong or right. Peoples lives and well being are more important.

    Um, I know it's not right to say mean stuff about the deceased, but I don't like Jackson that much. I'm not a hater, but his voice is too girly. I have to admit that his moonwalk is genius, but I liked the Fall Out Boy cover of this song better. There, I said it, okay? Yeah, thumbsdown or thumbsup me, I don't really care. So R.I.P. And whatever, but I am not going to like Jackon just cuz he passed away, okay?

    These are all great comment, It shows he really did have fans not just enmeys [other known as the media]. Yeah, sure he was called Wacko Jacko cuase' he did stuff that wasen't right like taking drugs and sleeping with little boys but he also was called the king of pop, cuase' his music was huge like his album 'thirller' sold over 40 million copies-worldwide. Not every artist or band can do that every day you know? God bless his family, his fans, his children and his music. Long live the king of pop. In our hearts.
