Muse – Neutron Star Collision lyrics
I was searching, you were on a mission
Then our hearts combined like a neutron star collision
I have nothing left to lose
You took your time to choose
Then we told each other with no trace of fear that

Our love would be forever
And if we die, we die together
Lie, I said never
Cause our love would be forever

The world is broken, halos fail to glisten
We try to make a difference but no one wants to listen
Hail the preachers, fake and proud
Their doctrines will be cloud
Then they'll dissipate like snowflakes in an ocean

Love is forever and we'll die
We'll die together
Lie, I said never
Cause our love, could be forever

Now I've got nothing left to lose
You take your time to choose
I can tell you now without a trace of fear

That my love will be forever
And well die, we'll die together
Lie, I will never
Cause our love will be forever

To me this is all about love between lovers or at least partners, that will never die as long as the people involved are both together, whether alive or not. It reminds me of soul mates.
And, now those who don't like twilight please don't jump down my throat - I know it wasn't made for the movie, but it's the sort of love that I think Bella and Edward have for each other especially: "Our love would be forever; And if we die, we die together; Lie, I said never; Cause our love would be forever" or any of the other variarions of the chorus - that's why it's such a perfect choice to include this song out of all the other Muse songs for the movie.

I'm not sure if it was written for twilight or not, but it really does relate
'hail the preachers fake and proud' sounds a lot like the voultourie and Edward and Bellas love would be 'forever' because (in eclipse) Edward promises to change Bella to an imortal.
But muse being muse I'm sure the meanings far deeper than that, Matt Bellamy is an amazing writer and I don't think he would just write a song based on the twilight storyline.

Actually. Matt wrote this song after his breakup. It has nothing to do with Twilight or Stephanie Meyer, but it the lead single on the Eclipse album.
Changes into their style? Obviously a new listener to muse. They actually use to be pretty hardcore in the beginning of their career launch. This song I'd have to say is the actually the first good song they put on a twilight soundtrack. The other 2 are my least favorite of their music. Still inlove with the Resistance album.
