I love you, lord is the cry of a child to his heavenly father who wants to bless his lord as much as his lord blesses him. He knows that the lord is the one who gives him everything; strength, hope, wealth, love - everything a person needs to survive. It is a declaration from one who understands the character of god, and that god made us to love us personally in a relationship that blesses his heart as much as it does their own life.

I love you lord: I long to worship you, glorify in all of my ways, talents & abilities. I love you, I rejoice in you, I desire for you to take joy in my offering of praise, for you loved me even in my lowest moments in life, you loved me even when I was a sinner, you never turned your back on me. You made me a better person. I love you lord, for soo many more reasons I could go on and on.

Whenever I worship the lord with my music, my soull rejoices because I wish to please the one I love. The one I love is god. He is my heavenly king, almighty god, and father. He has done so much for me. And now it is my turn to do this small thing for him: to lift up my voice in celebration of who he is. My voice may not be flawless like an angel's voice, but I am going to sing this song that the lord will recieve it as a sweet sound in his ear. The one who can see into our hearts, and knows our motives has the power to transform my ordinary voice into a sweet song.

I must comment as I think I may have had something to do with this post. It is late here in Al Khor; like, 1: 00a. M. Late. And I woke up with this song in my head. I came down stairs to see if I could find it, because one of the words seemed wrong to me. When I found it I was moved to push the "share to Facebook" button. For some reason Little George's popped up as the source instead of me. Strange. Hu?

Expressing my deep affection to my creator and my owner, lord means " owner", lifting my voice to worship is a way of praising him with all he has giving to me, the voice, my hands and my soul carries the part of my emotions to express what I feel for him. I know he smiles at me in acceptance whenever I sing this song to him. I love you lord.
