This song has special meaning to me. I met a woman at a conference in Dallas over 30 years ago and we had brief weekend affair and even though we were hundreds of miles apart and were committed others, we remained in contact by phone and letter for several months after. It's funny but I still think of her often and wonder if she still thinks of me. I already had this album in my collection before I met her and thought this as a beautiful song but when I listened to it again after we met it took on a whole new meaning. To me its about a couple, separated from one another and for whatever reason unable to be together. All they have now are memories and thoughts of conversations they'll never have. Their only hope is that they'll meet again in another life.
