I know the song is about Nikki sixx getting off drugs and how its based off his book. He's saying that coming so close to ending his own life for good, he's learned how truly great life really is. And he's sending a message to others basically saying life is too valuable to risk over drugs and the things he's done. It took me a while to understand why he says "will you swear on your life that no one will cry at my funeral" and I think I've got it now. I think he means it rhetorically, knowing you can't promise that. Meaning that people love you. No matter who you are someone in this world cares for you. And to play risk and get yourself killed doesn't only hurt you. The momentary pleasure from the drugs isn't worth it. Life is too beautiful to give up. At least that's what I got from it.

You never no what uv got untill its gone, and you will not always get what you want so just open those damn eyes and see that life is truly beautiful, you only have one life and you need to live it up to its fullest! Nikki sixx wrote this song to let people reilaze what he has gone threw, and to let people know that life is waayy to beautiful to risk! This song is soo true!

I think this song is amazing. It means that you gotta be you and you should just open ur eyes and realise that you are worth being here. I almost comitted suicide once but the guy I loved saved my life. I love him 4 that but he probably doesn't no that. He doesn't even no that he saved my life. If you are reading this collin. You no who you are. I love you and always will.

Whenever I'm feeling a little low, I listen to this song and realize that the hardships I'm experiencing are only going to make the happy times all the better, and that no matter what happens, life really is a beautiful thing.
Also, I'm reminded of Nikki Sixx's journey with drugs- and how basically being dead, among other trials in his life, really opened him up to see how wonderful the gift of life is. This fills me with even more hope.

This is such a great song and Nit speaks to my heart and soul. Tells me that I made a bad decision for waiting so long to open my eyes and realize that my two kids were my world and then that they were the ones that made my life happy and I need the direct download to do that and I die I want to go get him mad like I always have I'm going to do today most since I was 16 made the same like I said to come out but it took a long time for me to have in mind. I'm so glad I did a lot

So I can relate to this song cuz I've done a lot of bad things and so has my father so I pretty much stopped drinking and a lot of other things because life is way too beautiful to waste time doing drugs and drinking. You just have to open your eyes and realize what is in front of you! Beacuse if you don't then your going to throw away a beautiful life!
