He's a guy from the streets that knows he has the perfect girl. He pretty sure that he's in love with her. But, she doesn't like the guys he hangs out with. The guys keep badgering him saying"you don't need her... She's ms goody two shoes! " he knows how everything goes down on the streets. So, he just wants to get away from it all. And free fall! Just let his troubles float away! But, he still torn and wants her to realize he really loves her and that he's creative and special! So, he wants to tag the biggest canvas there is with her name. The sky! He's a romantic feeling stuck on the streets! Yeah! (4kp) bf.

This song is about hypocrisy. The man loves a woman who is a hypocrite. She loves so many good things that are honorable (America, Jesus, her mama), but with her sexuality, she falls way short (and her boyfriend too.). So, the girl is proud of herself, and her loyalties, but does not understand why she would be dumped by the boy. So, she decides he is a "bad boy" and is truly the one with the broken heart.
The boy, on the other hand, admired the girl in many ways, but learns that she is a hypocrite, professing to love Jesus, yet sleeping around on cheap one night stands.
The song is about hypocrisy, and the boys hatred of it. And his desire to find something better, which he knows he deserves.
