    I've got more of a dark explanation to this. Mines more like "open your slits and start your day" slits meaning cuts or self harming. "You don't have much time to make your slits look just right" You don't have much time to cover them up and hide them. "The clouds above will hold you, the clouds above will sing" Kind of like this person has passed away and the clouds (heaven) will hold you and they'll sing. I don't know this is my interpretation, but it's probably completely wrong.
